Chocolate Chip Pie

1 unbaked, 9 inch, deep dish pie shell.
If using a frozen pie shell, use deep dish style...
thawed completely.
2 Large Eggs
1/2 c. all purpose Flour
1/2 c. Granulated Sugar
1/2 c. Brown Sugar ~ packed
3/4 c. ( 1 1/2 sticks ) Real Butter, softened
1 c. Semi- Sweet Chocolate Chips
1 c. Chopped Nuts ~ optional
Preheat oven to 325
Beat Eggs in a large mixer bowl on high speed, until foamy.
Beat in Flour, Sugar, and Brown Sugar.
Beat in softened Butter.
Stir in Chocolate Chips..... and Nuts, if desired.
Spoon into Pie Shell.
Place Pie on a baking sheet, and set on middle rack of oven.
Bake for 55 to 60 minutes, ~
or until knife can be inserted 1/2 way between outside edge & centre,
and come out clean.
Cool on wire rack.
