Sweet Chocolate Pudding

1 Qt. Milk
2 c. Bread Crumbs
8 Tbsp. grated Chocolate
6 Tbsp. Sugar
1 piece Butter, ~ (the size of an Egg)
1 tsp. Vanilla

Bring Milk to the boiling point,
pour it over the Bread Crumbs,
letting it stand 1 hour;
then add the grated Chocolate, and Sugar.
Melt a piece of Butter the size of an Egg and add,
then also add the Vanilla.
Mix thoroughly and
Bake nearly 1 1/2 hours.

Serve with thick Cream, hard,
or Creamy Sauce.
