Dressing for Cold Slaw

From a
1914

1 Egg, well beaten
1 Tbsp. Sugar
1/2 tsp. Salt
1 dash Pepper
1/2 c. Vinegar
.
Mix together,
set on the stove and let come to a boil,
stirring constantly.
Add a piece of Butter
and pour hot over chopped or shaved Cabbage.
