Ginger Snaps

From an
1897
cook book

.
Melt 1/2 c. Butter,
and turn it into 1 c. Molasses
with 1 tsp. of Ginger,
1 scant tsp. of Baking Soda dissolved in
1 tsp. of Water,
and Flour enough to roll.
Bake quickly.
