Honey Cake

1/2 pt. Sour Cream
2 c. Flour
1/2 tsp. ground Ginger
1/4 tsp. powdered Cinnamon
2 Tbsp. Sugar
2 Tbsp. Honey
1 tsp. Baking Soda
some Hot Water
.
Stir Sour Cream and Flour together.
Add Ginger, Cinnamon, Sugar, and Honey.
Mix thoroughly.
When the Cake is ready for the oven,
add the Baking Soda, dissolved in a
small quantity of Hot Water.
Beat again for a few minutes,
pour the mixture into a Buttered mould.
Bake in a good oven for 45 minutes.

This Cake may be eaten either warm or cold.
