Fudge Brownies

4 squares Unsweetened Chocolate
1/2 c. Butter
4 Eggs
2 c. Sugar
1 c. Flour
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. Walnuts, {chopped... (optional)

Melt Chocolate with Butter
in double boiler.
Let cool some.
Beat Eggs until foamy,
gradually add Sugar,
beating well after each addition.
Blend in the Chocolate Mixture.
Stir in Flour.
Add Vanilla
and Walnuts, if desired.
Pour into a greased 9 inch square pan.
Bake at 325 for about 40 minutes.
Let cool before cutting.
