Pickled Plumbs

Vinegar
Salt
Mustard Seed

Make enough Pickle Brine of good Vinegar,
Salt, and Mustard Seed.
Have it boiling hot and pour it over the Plumbs;
after it has stood thus over night,
heat the Vinegar again,
and again pour it on the Plumbs.

The Plumbs should be gathered just as
they are beginning to turn from their green color.
