Inexpensive Fudge

From a
1932
recipe book

To 2 c. Sugar
add 1 c. Water,
3 Tbsp. Cocoa,
and a small pinch of Salt;
boil until it makes a soft ball in water.
Then add 1 Tbsp. Butter
and cool it in a bowl of water.
Add 1/2 tsp. Vanilla,
stir until creamy
and pour on a Buttered dish.
