Put the Apples in a pan and mash them well;
then let them simmer in a preserving kettle 20 minutes;
strain through a Jelly bag,
and to 1 pint of Juice allow 1 lb. of Sugar;
let it boil 10 minutes,
then pour into jars.
Place in a dark, dry place.
