Rusk

1 teacup=(1/2 c.) Sugar
2 Eggs, -{beaten together
1 c. Warm Milk
1 Tbsp. Butter
1 c. lively Yeast
some Flour
.
Beat the Eggs together;
add Sugar, Warm Milk, Butter,
and lively Yeast.
Stir in some Flour until nearly as
stiff as Pound Cake Batter.

Set the Dough to rise in the evening,
and in the morning,
mould out into Rolls with as little
Flour as possible.
.
When well risen,
Bake.
