Blackberry Brandy ( fast & easy )

From an
1888
cook book

2 Qts. Juice of Blackberries
1 lb. Loaf Sugar
1/2 oz. Nutmeg
1/2 oz. Cinnamon
1/2 oz. Cloves
1/4 oz. Pimento
.
( The Spices are pulverized );
boil it all together for about 30 minutes,
let cool,
and when cold,
add 1 pt. of the best Brandy.
