Squash Pie

To 1 c. of boiled, sifted Squash
(which should be as dry as possible)
add 1 Egg,
2 c. Milk,
a pinch of Salt,
a seasoning of Nutmeg,
and sweeten to taste.
Line a deep dish with with plain Paste,
fill with the Squash Mixture,
bake 1 hour in a moderate oven.
