Strawberry Bread Pudding

10 oz. pkg. frozen Strawberries
1 Tbsp. Corn Starch
2 Eggs, -{slightly beaten
1 1/2 c. Milk
4 c. (4 slices) Bread... {cut in 1/2 inch cubes
1/2 c. Sugar
2 Tbsp. Butter, (or Margarine)...-{melted
1/2 tsp. Vanilla
1/4 tsp. Salt
A few drops of Red Food Coloring,
if desired... {Optional.

In small pan, combine
undrained Strawberries,
and Corn Starch.
Cook until mixture thickens & bubbles.

Stir in Food Coloring.

Spread evenly over bottom of
a 10 X 6 X 2 inch pan.
( an 8 X 8 inch pan will do)

Combine the...
Eggs,
Milk,
Sugar,
Butter,
Vanilla,
Salt.

Add Bread cubes & stir to moisten.
Then;
very carefully pour over the Berries.

Bake at 350 for 50 to 55 minutes.
`
Serve warm. ----- Serve with Cream.
