6 Eggs

1 gill= (1/2 c.) Sugar

1 Qt. Rich Milk

1 grating Nutmeg

1/2 pt. of the best Whiskey

.

Beat Egg yolks, & Egg Whites separately.

Mix beaten Yolks with Sugar;

beat well and then add Rich Milk, and Nutmeg.

Next add the Whiskey,

and lastly, whip in the Egg Whites.

It is well to beat this with a Dover beater.
