Pumpkin Cookies

2 c. Brown Sugar
1 c. Lard
2 Eggs
1 can Pumpkin Pie Filling
2 c. Dates, ~ or Raisins
1/2 c. Nuts ~ your choice
2 tsp. Vanilla
4 c. Flour
2 tsp. Baking Soda
4 tsp. Baking Powder
2 tsp. Cinnamon
1/2 tsp. Ginger
1 tsp. Allspice
a little Salt
`
Cream Sugar & Lard Well.
Add;
Eggs, Pumpkin, Dates {or Raisins, Nuts, & Vanilla.
Add;
Sifted Dry ingredients.
`
Mix together thoroughly.
`
Drop on cookie sheet &
Bake at 350
`
Frost while warm, with Browned Butter Icing.
