White Almond Bark

2 c. Sugar
2/3 c. Milk
1 Tbsp. Corn Syrup
1/4 tsp. Salt
2 Tbsp. Butter
1 tsp. Vanilla
1 c. Unblanched Almonds
Mix:
Sugar, Milk, Corn Syrup, & Salt
in a 2 Quart sauce pan.
Stir until mixture begins to boil.
Cook to the soft ball stage = {234 F.
Remove from heat, add Butter & cool slightly.
Add;
Vanilla,
beat until creamy.
Then add the Almonds &
spread about 1/2 inch thick on greased cookie sheet.
Let it cool completely.
Then break into pieces.
Makes 2 Lbs.
