Rhubarb Upside Down Cake

3 c. Rhubarb, -{cut 1 to 1 1/2 inches long
10 Marshmallows, -{cut in 1/2
3/4 c. Sugar
1/2 c. Shortening
1 c. Sugar
2 Eggs, -{beaten
1 3/4 c. Flour
1/4 tsp. Salt
3 tsp. Baking Powder
1/2 c. Milk

Arrange Rhubarb in bottom of 10 inch pan.
Add Marshmallows and 3/4 c. Sugar.
Cake Batter:
Cream Shortening and 1 c. Sugar. Add Eggs, beat well.
Add sifted dry ingredients alternately with Milk.
Pour over Rhubarb in pan.
Bake in 350 oven for 1 hour.
