Carmel Oatmeal Bars

1 c. Flour
1 c. Oatmeal
3/4 c. Firmly packed Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
3/4 c. Melted Margarine ~ or Butter
1/4 tsp. Salt
1 c. Semi-Sweet Chocolate chips
1/2 c. Chopped Pecans
3/4 c. Carmel Ice Cream Topping
3 Tbsp. Flour
In a large mixing bowl, combine the Flour, Oatmeal, Brown Sugar, Soda, Salt, & Melted Margarine ~ or Butter.
Blend well at low speed to form Crumbs.
Press 1/2 the crumbs on the bottom of a 7 X 11 inch pan ~ (or a 9 X 9 inch pan).
Bake at 350 for 10 minutes.
Remove from oven... sprinkle with Chocolate Chips, & Chopped Pecans.
Blend Carmel Topping & Flour... drizzle over Chips & Pecans to cover.
Sprinkle with remaining crumbs.
Bake 15 to 20 minutes more, or until a golden brown.
Chill for 1 or 2 hours before cutting bars.
